Note: The
Northstar Horizon and Cromemco Machines are down at the
moment. I am using this machine during the bring up
phase of the IMSAI Series Two development effort. I will
return the Cromemco back to service as soon as
possible.
Thank you for your
patience.
If you have any documentation for
this system that you would be willing to copy or sell, please
let me know.
The Cromemco System One is a
"late-model" S-100 machine. This particular
one has a Cromemco DPU processor card with a Z80 processor and
a Motorola 68000 processor. It also has a 64FDC floppy
controller card, 256K of RAM and a 4-port serial card. This
machine is running CP/M 2.2, but can also run CDOS (Cromemco
DOS) and Cromix.
Please note: Connect to this
machine by via
telnet by clicking the image below. After you connect to the machine, press
Return
a few times slowly to get the machine to boot from the floppy
drive. If it doesn't work after pressing Return a bunch
of times, then reconnect and try again.
